Three signs your dog is cold

Three signs your dog is cold

Ever wondered whether dogs need a winter jersey? Should they wear a jersey? Our rule of thumb is: if you're cold, they're cold! Read on for 3 signs your dog may be cold.

1. COLD EARS
If your dog's ears are cold to the touch, it's very likely they are cold. The same goes for paws.

2. THEY'RE SHIVERING
When your dog feels cold, they will start to shiver. The body is trying to warm itself up by increasing the blood flow to the muscles and keeping them warm (just like humans).

3. THEY'LL WANT TO CUDDLE
Your dog will try to conserve body heat by curling up, hiding under blankets or cuddling up to their favourite human! When dogs curl up they are trying to conserve heat and keep their core body temperature warm.
